William Glen (Bil) Wise was born February 4 th , 1953 to Willys and Beverly Wise of Irricana, Alberta and passed away August 25 th , 2021. Bil attended school at Irricana, Kathyrn and Beiseker, before moving to Brooks, Alberta. He worked as the Farm Manager for the Horticultural Research Center in Brooks and later as a feed truck driver for Lakeside Packers until his retirement. Bil devoted countless hours over the years to his local B.P.O.E., serving as Past Exhaulted Ruler and District Deputy of Brooks and Crossfield, respectively. An avid outdoorsman, Bil could regularly be found in pursuit of his next big fish and was always willing to spend an afternoon at a nearby lake. He was an active fan of rodeo and spent his retirement following the Professional Bull Riding Circuit. Bil took great joy in sharing these experiences with his children, granddaughter and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Beverly and Willys Wise, sister Sue Silbernagel and brother-in-law Daryl Hay. Bil is survived by his children, David Wise and Bonnie (Mike) England; granddaughter Kate; sisters, Donna Hay of Carbon and Kelly (Kevin) Schmaltz of Vernon; brother-in-law Ray Sibernagel of Beiseker; nephews and nieces, Peter (Chantalle) Van Otterloo, Tanya Van Otterloo (Drew Halter), Brandy Hay-Morgan (Jason), and Stephanie Hay Evans. A Celebration of Bil's Life will be held at a later date. In memory of Bil, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to your local Legion.
