Thomas (Tom) Emil Arik of Red Earth Creek and Brooks, Alberta passed away in Red Earth Creek on Friday, November 7th, 2025 at the age of 60 years. Tom was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on March 24th, 1965 to Eugene and Irene Arik. Tom's passion was the oil and gas industry, where he worked for 45 years, most recently at Attack Oilfield Services in Red Earth Creek. He loved mechanical work and autobody work, always having numerous projects to complete. Tom enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating, back road 4 x 4ing and working out. He will be fondly remembered as a great dad, wonderful grandfather and cherished son. Tom was predeceased by his brother Mark Arik, godmother Gizella Anna Vaczy and mother-in-law Betty Cyr. He is survived by his children, T.J Arik (Chantal Henry) and Cherie Arik; ex wife Judy Cyr; grandchildren, Markus and Sophia Arik; parents Eugene and Irene Arik; siblings, Eugene (Tracery) Arik, John (Margaret) Arik, Judy Arik and Tammy (Skip) Harper; sister-in-law Louise Arik and father-in-law Charlie Cyr. . A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 29th at 2:00 PM from the Cassills Community Centre.In memory of Tom, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to a Charity of Choice.
