Quinn passed away suddenly on February 25, 2026 at the age of 29. He will be deeply and forever missed by his parents, Dean Pozzo and Marilyn Pozzo, his siblings Allison Pozzo and Brett Pozzo, his grandmother Margaret Laux and many extended family members and friends.

Those who loved Quinn experienced both his light and the weight of his struggles. When he was at his best, he radiated warmth and joy, drawing people in with his laugh and his ability to make others feel seen. He had an affectionate heart and a playful spirit, and there were moments when his light filled every room he entered.

Quinn's life was also shaped by a long and painful struggle with substance use disorder and mental health challenges. Addiction is a powerful and complex illness — one that impacts not only the person suffering, but the entire family and the friends who love them. Our family has lived that reality. There were seasons of hope, setbacks, healing, and heartbreak. These struggles created turbulence in Quinn's life and in the lives of those closest to him, but they never erased the love that existed alongside them.

Quinn shared a meaningful relationship with his best friend, Cassandra and spent time with her children in ways that reflected his playful and affectionate nature. He could often be found helping with coloring pages, taking them on bike rides, or showing up for birthdays and holidays with excitement. In those moments, his warmth was unmistakable.

After a long battle with addiction, as well as the demons that came before and after, he succumbed to the darkness. His death leaves behind grief that is layered and complex — sorrow for who he was, sorrow for who he tried to be, and sorrow for who he might have become.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no service at this time. In lieu of flowers, our family asks that donations be made to organizations supporting addiction treatment, recovery services, and mental health care. We share Quinn's struggle openly in the hope that it encourages compassion, reduces stigma, and helps other families facing similar battles.

Quinn's life was imperfect and complicated, but he was loved. We will carry forward the moments of light he gave us.
