Philip Donald Frampton was born on March 4, 1948 and died on June 3, 2023 in Brooks, Alberta. Phil was born in Orangeville, Ontario second oldest child of Thomas Oak Frampton and Olga Merrill Frampton (Trimble). He graduated from Orangeville District Secondary School. He played hockey through high school and started to develop his lifelong passion for golf. Phil became an avid Blue Jays fan the year the team was formed and watched every game he could. In his younger years he coached a few different youth baseball and hockey teams and really enjoyed doing that. He worked as a long-distance truck driver for many years before joining Toronto Hydro in 1981, where he worked in various positions until his retirement in 2012. After he retired Phil relocated to Brooks in May of 2013, where he lived until his death. Phil was predeceased by his parents and his sister-in-law Olga and brother-in-law Vic Warren. He is survived by his brother Rob (Olga), sister Mary Lou (Vic) and sister Barbara (Robert Porter). Survived by nieces, Emily (Frank Smalec), Andria (Ted Martin) and Jessica (Rick Lindlau). Also, great nieces Jordan, Madalyn and Sarah and great nephews Nate, Kristian and Ryder. He is fondly remembered by his good friends Daryl and Ann of Kitchener Ontario and other friends from Toronto Hydro and all his golfing buddies over the years. Cremation has taken place, there will be no formal funeral service. A private remembrance will take place at a later date.
