The family of Pauline Beverly Mark (nee) Kniert sadly announces her passing on May 2, 2025 at the age of 88 years. Pauline was born on August 30, 1936 in Fernie British Columbia.  She leaves to mourn her three children, Randall Dean Mark of Brooks, Tracy Lynn (Gordon) Krinke of Brooks, and Lindsay Lorne  (Rhonda) Mark of Cochrane; her grandchildren, Jaime (Leigh) Guerrine of Kelowna, B.C., Tiffany Morgan Krinke of Brooks and Daneen Nichole (Donald Carr) Krinke of Milton, Ontario, and her great-grandsons, Gordon and Atticus Carr-Krinke, her sister, Margaret (nee Emary) (David) Groenhuysen of Creston, B.C., and her brother Vernon (Eid) Emary of Yahk, B.C., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pauline was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Richard Lorne Mark, her mother Hazel Brooks (Skilling) Weisbrodt, her father Laurence Henry Kniert, and her sister Brenda Elaine Finley.

Pauline spent her youth in British Columbia in places such as Fernie, Cranbrook, Kingsgate, Nelson and New Denver before moving to Calgary after graduating high school in Nelson.  It was here she met and married her husband Bill.  In 1963, along with their three children. they transferred to Brooks with Bill's job at Schlumberger Canada.  Pauline spent many happy years working alongside wonderful co-workers at Bevan & Hutch Chartered Accountants as well as being a partner with Bill in Centennial Grocery, Marbrook Meats, and with Bill and her son Lindsay in Lakeway Auto Parts Ltd.

Pauline was a member of the Kinette Club of Brooks, a founding member of Brooks Olives, founding member of Brooks K-Ette Club of Brooks and a member of the Brooks Chapter of the Alberta Genealogical Society. Her interests were in photography, gardening and genealogy.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
