Patrick Joseph McCauley of Duchess, beloved husband of Kay McCauley, passed away in Brooks on Thursday, June 23 ^rd , 2022 at the age of 85 years. Patrick was born on August 22 ^nd , 1936 to Peter and Isabelle McCauley in Bromley, ON the youngest of 11 children. Due to the passing of his Mom at 2 weeks of age, Pat was raised by Victor and Sophie St. Louis. He grew up and received his schooling in Haileybury, ON. He is survived by his loving wife Kay; his step-daughter Lynn Schrader (Mel), and step-sons Doug and Mike (Darlene) Moore. His grandchildren, Justin (Robyn), Scott (Kendra) Selk, Dara Skanderup (Tyler) and Faith Moore; great grandchildren, Skylar (Shenai), Rhylan, Kiara, Briea, Hunter, Mikala (Calvin), Colby, Addie, Nash, Cruz and Kora; great great grandchild Waylen; brother Earl (Geraldine) McCauley and numerous nieces and nephews. Patrick was predeceased by his birth parents; Peter and Isabelle McCauley; 9 siblings; adoptive parents, Victor and Sophie St Louis and granddaughter Raina Schrader. A Celebration of Life for Pat will be held on Thursday, June 30 ^th at 2:00 PM from the Heritage Inn Hotel and Convention Centre, Brooks, AB. A Family Graveside will take place at the Duchess Cemetery. Rev. Janice Whitelock officiating.
