Patrick Gordon Davy of Rosemary, beloved husband of Karen L. Davy, passed away in Rosemary on Tuesday, April 18 ^th , 2023 at the age of 67 years. Patrick was born in Calgary, Alberta on July 28 ^th , 1955 to Lawrence and Flora Davy. He attended school in Calgary, then worked in the warehouse industry. Patrick married Karen Janzen on November 12 ^th , 1988 in Rosemary. They moved to Rosemary from Calgary in January, 1989, where they raised their 3 sons Joel, Paul and Neil. Patrick worked for Lakeside (JBS), Snyder's Auto Wreckers and for Brooks Industrial Metals on the recycling side. Patrick had over 50 years of experience with leather work, producing one-of-a-kind pieces for family members, friends and special orders for members of the community. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and long strolls in the country, where he could enjoy the sound of nature. Patrick appreciated the simple things in life but could be counted on to speak his mind on a subject he felt strongly about. He was predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Flora Davy; father and mother-in-law, Peter and Justina Janzen and brother Brian Davy. Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Karen L. Davy of Rosemary; sons, Joel Davy of Calgary, Paul Davy and his wife Jennifer of Calgary and Neil Davy of Rosemary; siblings William and Karen Davy of Calgary and numerous other family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 27 ^th at 11:00 AM from Rosemary Mennonite Church. Ben Nickel officiating.
