Patricia Anne Mathewson of Bassano, beloved wife of the late Ken Mathewson, passed away in Bassano on Sunday, February 18 th , 2018 at the age of 68 years. Patricia was born in Bassano on June 30 th , 1949 to Roy and Phyllus Emel. She received her education in Bassano. Patricia married Ken Mathewson on July 31 st , 1965. Patricia enjoyed painting and crafts, and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She was a long time member of the Royal Purple. Patricia will be remembered by those who knew her as a kind and fair person, with a deep love for her family. She was predeceased by her loving husband Ken, sister Joyce Latimer and an infant brother Robert. Patricia is survived by her children, Ken Mathewson, Jo-Anne Sinclair and Tammy Mathewson; 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends. In respect for Patricia's wishes no services will be held. In memory of Patricia, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, 200 Manning Road NE, Calgary, Alberta    T2E 5E9.
