Nicholas Stone of Brooks, passed away in Medicine Hat on Sunday, July 7 ^th , 2019 at the age of 55 years. Nicholas was born on September 26 ^th , 1963 in Lewin's Cove, Newfoundland to Boyd and Jessie Stone. He was a long time employee of H & E Trucking in Brooks. Nicholas will be remembered for his kind and giving heart. He was predeceased by his parents Jessie and Boyd Stone and brothers Lester, Whelman and John Stone. Nicholas will be fondly remembered by his siblings; Jerry Stone and his wife Peggy of Lewin's Cove, Alfred Stone of Lewin's Cove, Randy Stone and Irene of St. Lawrence, Newfoundland, Geraldine Stone and Leo of Richmond Hill, Ontario, Wanda and Aubrey Farrell of St. Lawrence, Newfoundland, Audrey Stone of Lewin's Cove  and Laura and Rev. Brian Candow of Gander, Newfoundland; sisters in law, Elizabeth Stone of Creston South, Newfoundland, Sheila Stone of Richmond Hill, Ontario and special nephew Jeremy Stone of Brooks and numerous other family members and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 13 ^th at 6:00 PM from EID Legion, Brooks. A Celebration of Life will take place in Newfoundland at a later date.

Cremation is entrusted to Smith Funeral Home Ltd. and Crematorium, Brooks .
