It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister and friend Marion Brown,

Marion passed away peacefully on April 6th, 2025, at the Brooks Health Centre at the age of 86 years. Born November 20th, 1938, in Brooks to Hilda and Clarance Morrison. Marion was the second oldest child, she had an older brother Keneth and sister Sharon. Marion was raised in Duchess, and she attended school with her brother Ken in a one room country school and in Rosemary. After Marion was done school, she went off to nursing aid school in Calgary. She married Sid Brown on November 14th, 1958, and together they had four children Craig, Deb, Dale and Corrine

Marion loved her family with all her heart and made sure they were well taken care of. Marion loved to bake home made bread and other goodies she also loved to garden she lived her life one day at a time.

Marion is predeceased by her brother Keneth, father Clarance, husband Sid, son Craig, mother Hilda and daughter Debra.

Marion is survived by her son Dale of Brooks; daughter Corrine and her husband Cori of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan; sister Sharon of Brooks; son-in-law Ron of Calgary; daughter-in-law Rhonda and husband Iean of Brooks; grandson Josh wife Sam and great granddaughter Eevy of Taber; grandson Aaron and wife Katie of Grande Prairie; nephews Darwin of Brooks, Aaron and his wife Marizel of Edmonton, Shane and wife Claire of Calgary, and Brad of the Yukon; niece Bonnie Hart of Brooks and family; granddaughters, Amber and Shlaura of Ontario; grandson Chris of Regina; granddaughters, Elizebeth and Rae Anne of Calgary; grandson Kyle of Fort Saskatchewan and granddaughter Bobbie and her husband John of Alabama.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 12th, 2025 at 11:00 am from the Brooks United Church. Rev Esther Crews officiating. Interment to follow at Brooks Cemetery.
