Linda Rose Rawn of Bassano, Alberta, passed away in Bassano on Wednesday, February 25th, 2026 at the age of 77 years. Born in Kitchener, Ontario on December 23rd, 1948 to Marion and Eldon Schoenfeld Linda attended grade school and then business college in Ontario, before meeting and marrying her loving husband Del in 1974. They then decided to venture out to Alberta in 1975, where they later had daughter Terri and laid down their roots. Linda had many jobs over the years and took great pride in doing her best at everything she tackled. She worked at several banks, the Bassano Times Newspaper, Family Fabrics, Brooks Sewing Machine Centre, and retired from Walmart. Linda was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, and the heart of her family. She found joy in the simple, beautiful things in life — tending to her garden, sewing with care and creativity, and gathering her loved ones together whenever she could. Her hands were rarely still, whether stitching something special or nurturing her flowers, both reflections of the love she poured into those around her. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Del; daughter Terri (Ben) and her cherished grandchildren, who will carry forward her warmth, strength, and deep appreciation for family. Linda's legacy lives on in the traditions she created and the memories that will be treasured always. Linda will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by numerous family members and friends, she truly touched the lives of all who knew her. Services will be held at a later date.
