Lawrence Henry James White of Brooks, passed away suddenly in Brooks on Saturday, January 6 ^th , 2018 at the age of 42 years. Lawrence was born on February 18 ^th , 1975 in Fort McMurray and spent his childhood in Turner Valley, Alberta. He later moved to Calgary, where he worked in a variety of positions as a labourer. Lawrence spent his final 10 years in Brooks. Anyone who spent time with Lawrence knew that he had a tender soul, a heart of gold and an infectious laugh. He loved many and judged few. Lawrence had a special connection to animals, especially his cat Tommy, who never left his side. He loved music and, more than anything, loved to hear his mother sing. Lawrence had an immense love for his family, who will always cherish the memories of times spent with him. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Brittany White; mother, Carol White; father Arthur White; partner, Sherry Bauder and numerous aunts, uncles cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 20 ^th at 2:00 PM from Smith Memorial Chapel. Antonio Gusto officiating.
