Kaoru (Karl) Aimoto of Bassano, Alberta, beloved husband of the late Verna Aimoto, passed away at his home at the Bassano Playfair Lodge on Saturday, February 12 ^th , 2022 at the age of 84 years. Kaoru was born on September 9 ^th , 1937 in Raymond, Alberta and moved to Rosemary, Alberta in March of 1946. He then moved to Bassano, where he lived and ran a used store for many years. Kaoru sold his store about 3 years ago and lived at the Lodge until his passing. He is survived by brothers, Keyo, Yoshio (Susan) and sisters Mary (Marcel Boissonnault) and Rose (Bill Raglin) and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services and visitation will be held on Saturday, February 19 ^th at 2:00 PM at the Bassano Cemetery.
