Josephine Irene Friesen of Brooks, passed away in Brooks on Tuesday, October 20 ^th , 2020 at the age of 68 years. She was born in Brooks on February 4 ^th , 1952 to Frank and Irene Spies. Josie was mother to Wyomie Spies, Robert Caldwell, and Charles Caldwell. Grandmother to 9 grandchildren: Dustin Spies, Cody Spies, Dakotah Matthews, Jordyn Caldwell, Caden Caldwell, Skyler Caldwell, Serenity Caldwell ,Sierra Caldwell and Shaylin Caldwell. She will forever be missed by all of her family. Josie was a very caring, loving mother with a big heart. She was an amazing grandmother to all our children. Josie was a dearing friend to alot of people from over the years working at the Newell Hotel, Mohawk Gas Station and 7-11  Gas Station . Everyone will surely miss her, and we will always carry her in our hearts. A Family service will be held.
