Our beloved Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma, Ina Lee Treiber (nee Deans) passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January 30th, 2026 at the age of 92. Ina was born in Bassano, AB on August 19th, 1933. She was raised on the family farm in Countess along with her parents Jim & Essie Deans, six siblings, Celia, Francis, June, Anne, Chloe and Jim.

She attended Countess School until 1946, then was bussed into Bassano School where she finished high school. Ina worked at the Bassano Hospital until 1956 when she married Cliff. They lived in Bassano until 1959, then moved back to the Dean's farm in Countess where Cliff worked for Ina's father. They had their children David in 1957, Debbie in 1958, and Betty in 1960. In 1977, they returned back to Bassano and built their own home with lots of help from their kids and their friends.

Ina then enjoyed working for 18 years at the Friendly Store which eventually became Ed's Meat & Grocery. In 1995 she retired and stayed home to enjoy her grandchildren and hobbies. Ina was a long-standing member of the E-Free Church and loved helping with meals, contributing to programs, teaching Sunday School and Daily Vacation Bible School. She loved to be outside where she could enjoy all that God made for us. She loved to go to rodeos, collect horses, quilt, crochet, go for countryside drives with Cliff, and spend time with her grandchildren and watch their sports. Grandma would always tell us that "God loves us!"

She was survived by her son David Treiber, his daughter Yvonne  Hansen (Jason) and their daughters Avery, Piper and Ella and his son Cody Treiber (Angela); her daughter Debbie Wood, her son Jonathon Petruk (Tanya) and their children Meghan, Kacey, Jack, her daughter Jeanine Miklos (Alex) and their daughters Kya and Kaylin, and her son Daniel Wood (Ginger) and  their children Makoy, Phoenix and Dax; her son in law Ken Andrejcin, his daughter Whitney Mandel (Jason) and their children Jessa, Kayson and Bennett, and his son Calvin Andrejcin.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Clifford Treiber, daughter Betty Andrejcin, parents Essie and James Deans, Cliffs parents Herb and Dena Treiber, sisters June Neufeld, Celia Thrun, Anne Baron (Fred) and brother Jim Deans.
