Harold John Andres (Dec 12, 1960 – Sept 25, 2021) passed away in Brooks, Alberta after a lengthy illness. Harold was born in Herbert, Saskatchewan, the youngest child of Henry K. and Linda Andres. All of Harold's school days were spent in Herbert, and as an adult, he lived in Calgary, Edmonton, Chilliwack, and most recently, Bassano. He was good with his hands – woodworking, mechanics, fixing small engines, and doing needlepoint. He loved listening to his scanner, watching action movies and riding his motorcycle. Harold enjoyed visiting and had a great sense of humour. Harold was predeceased by his father, Henry K Andres, his older brother, George Andres, and his sister-in-law, Joyce Andres. He is survived by his mother, Linda Andres in Bassano, brother Ed Andres (Rick and Christine), sister Linda Donaldson and her husband Dave (James, Audrey and Dave, Hunter and Sawyer, and a special niece Reese – who called him Uncle Toy), brother Ken and his wife Linda (Tanessa, Carson and Rachel) and sister-in law Carolyn Corbett and Mike. The family would like to thank all the workers in the Bassano Health Centre, the Brooks Health Centre, and the Orchard Manor for their excellent care for Harold over the past eight months. Interment at Bassano Cemetery.
