Gregory Allen Thordarson of Brooks, AB., passed away in Brooks on Sunday, December 19 ^th , 2021 at the age of 45 years. Greg was born on November 8 ^th , 1976 in Edmonton, and grew up and lived in AB., Man., Sask., before he finally made Brooks, home. Greg loved and played hockey. At his PeeWee level, his team won the South Zone Championship "B" division, when he played out of Provost, AB.. Greg was a fellow that never shied away from any hard work, especially on "The Rigs". Greg worked both in Drilling and Service. He also loved helping family and friends in any type of need. He was always quick with a joke or a crazy escapade he was involved in. Greg is survived by his parents, Terry and Colette Thordarson; brothers, Ron Thordarson and Trevor (Sarah) Thordarson; grandmother E. Chris Thordarson; his children Austin, Ella and Damien; nephews, Kaylor, Casey and Leif and his 2 nieces Tauriel and Everleigh, (aka "turkey lips"); lots of uncles and aunties, and cousins, who loved him dearly and Daryl Peterson, his very close friend. Greg was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Doug Thordarson; maternal grandparents, Omer and Margaret Bibeau and his uncle Glenn. Greg's Celebration of Life will be held February 19 ^th , 2022, at Heritage Inn & Suites, Brooks at 2:00 pm.
