Gregory Wayne Dale, aged 72, was called to his eternal rest on January 20, 2026, in Brooks, Alberta. He was born on November 6, 1953, in Quesnel, British Columbia.
Gregory married Cathy Ann Dale in 1994. They raised their family in Slave Lake, Alberta, welcoming their two children, Calynn and Graysen, and later made their home in Brooks.
In his early years, Gregory served as a paramedic with St. John Ambulance. For his service, he was recognized as a member of the Order of St. John and awarded the Alberta Centennial Medal. Throughout his working life, he held many roles, including careers with Clean Harbors and Edon, taking responsibility seriously and valuing hard work.
In his personal time, Gregory had a quiet appreciation for travel, cycling, and model trains. He valued experiences and held onto the memories formed throughout his life.
Gregory was predeceased by his beloved wife, Cathy Ann Dale. He is survived by his sister, Barb McLean, his brother, Barry Dale, his children, Calynn (Ghulam) and Graysen (Mirri).
Like all lives, his was marked by both strength and complexity, known most deeply by those closest to him.
He will be remembered for his devotion to family and service to others, and for the contributions he made throughout his life.
Gregory is entrusted to God's care and will be remembered by family and friends with gratitude and quiet remembrance.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Peace River, Alberta at a future date.
