It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fred, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend. Fred passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, adventure, and cherished memories. Born in Prince Edward County, Ontario, on February 2nd, 1952, Fred moved to Brooks, Alberta, in 1975 where he resided for 49 years.

Fred was an accomplished hunter and clay shooter, finding great joy and passion in the outdoors. His skill and love for the sport made him a well-respected figure in the community.

Fred was the only brother to five sisters and was especially close to his younger sister Carolyn. Though they lived far apart, Fred was always a constant and loving presence in the lives of Carolyn, her husband John, and their daughter Sarah. His warmth, generosity, and unwavering support will be deeply missed.

Fred's passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and he will be forever remembered for his quiet strength and love for nature.

We invite friends to join us for a gathering in memory of Fred at the Brooks Hotel on Sunday, September 22 at 2:00 p.m., where we will raise a glass in his honour.
