It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to Doris Closs whose journey through life ended on May 19/2025 at the age of 91. Doris was born on May 20/1933 to John and Barbara Sackman in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.

She was predeceased by her husband Carman, and by all her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Gloria (Bob) Dench, Donna (Mark) Foreman, Wayne Closs and Larry (Wendy) Closs. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at Brooks United Church..

She will be laid to rest at Brooks Cemetery.
