Donalene Welda Meador of Brooks, beloved wife of the late Ralph Meador, passed away at Sunrise Gardens, Brooks on Friday, July 31 ^st , 2020 at the age of 97 years.  Dona, as she was most commonly known, was born on April 2 ^nd , 1923 in Nebraska and was the oldest of five children.  Along with her parents and two brothers, she came to Canada in 1929, where they settled in the One Tree area near Brooks.  Dona was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Meador; and two brothers, Leslie Robinson and Marvin Robinson.  She is survived by two brothers, Alvin Robinson and Howard Robinson; numerous nieces and nephews; son Gary Meador of Brooks; grandchildren, Shelly Jupp of Brooks, Patrick Meador of Cassils, Amanda Zilm of Calgary and Trevor Meador of Canmore and her great-grandchildren, Peyten, McKenna, Harper and Alexander.  A Family Service will be held.
