Donald Dwayne Hutchinson of Brooks, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the Brooks Hospital on July 25, 2024, with his daughters by his side at the age of 60 years old. Born on January 25, 1964, in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Donny moved to Brooks at a young age.

Donny was known for his strong work ethic and versatility, becoming a master of many trades. He initially worked as a mechanic but found his true calling in welding. His career led him to meet Janine's mother, with whom he had Janine. Approximately seven years later, while working in Cuba, Donny met Kaylan's mother, and they later returned to Brooks to have Kaylan.

Donny's dedication to his work earned him widespread respect. After many years in welding, he transitioned to Allteck and later concluded his career with Victor Energy. Those who knew him often spoke of his exceptional work ethic.

He was predeceased by his mother, June Hutchinson; his father, Dwayne Hutchinson; and Janine's mother. He is survived by his daughters, Janine and Kaylan, as well as his ex-wife and sister.

Donny is already deeply missed and loved. A Celebration of his Life will be held on August 25, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Brooks Hotel.
