Dina Barath beloved wife of the late Endre Barath passed away peacefully at Sunrise Gardens on Sunday, October 29,2023 at the age of 91. Dina was born in Harsany, Hungary, May 3, 1932. Dina, Endre and their two sons immigrated to Canada in 1957 to join grandpa Barath at his farm in One Tree. Dina was blessed with a daughter in 1966. Dina enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing and spending time with her family. Dina worked more than two decades at the Brooks Nursing Home and Hospital. She very much enjoyed Floor Curling with her friends at the Prairie Pioneers. Dina's energy and enthusiasm for life will be forever missed by her family and friends.

Dina was predeceased by her father Dezso in 1954 and her mother Lidia in 1988. Her husband Endre passed away in 2002. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law Danny Kakuk in 2023. She leaves her three children - Andy (Greta), Dick and Diane (Danny), grandsons Jim (Carlie), Kevin (Jennifer) and Erik and granddaughter Maggie (Eric) as well as great-grandchildren Avery, Maddox, Tanner and Morgan.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 3rd at 2:00 PM from St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. Marino Infante Celebrant. Interment to follow at Brooks Cemetery.
