Belinda Lea Garnier of Brooks, beloved wife of Dennis Sorge, passed away in Brooks on Saturday, February 29 ^th , 2020 at the age of 63 years. Belinda was born on August 19 ^th , 1956 in Nobleford, Alberta. She attended Nursing School at the Royal Alexandria Hospital, in Edmonton. Following graduation, Belinda worked at the Royal Alexandria and Grey Nuns Hospitals, in Edmonton. She met the love of her life, Dennis Sorge, in August, 2014 and they were inseparable from then until her passing. Belinda enjoyed shopping! Whether it was for clothes, shoes or food she loved to shop and frequently came home with more things then she intended to. During their time together, Belinda and Dennis spent many evenings walking their dogs, camping, dancing and would take frequent trips to Waterton National Park. She also enjoyed her television shows, never relinquishing the remote control to Dennis. Belinda was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband Dennis; fur babies Maggie and Teddy and extended family and many close friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 18 ^th at 2:00 PM from Smith Memorial Chapel. Rev. John Theiss officiating.
